At the start, my life at the Academy was.. Tranquil, like the deepest ocean. I didn't let others' words or actions affect me. Watching all of them walk through their meaningless days, one after the other, was just another way to make the hours go by faster. I could not understand why my family sent me here. There is nothing to learn within these walls. It is all just a pretty facade that they put up for the public.

Often I find myself sitting on the cliffs hugging the back of the Academy's main building, gazing down at the raging waves below, as they hit the rocks. Some days the ocean is calm, yet the white foam pooling around the base of the cliffs never ceases.. No water is calm forever. Deep down, it hides its vicious claws, you just have to swim deep enough. Make a small ripple and as it approaches the surface, it will manifest in a storm. A raging swell that will not calm until it has destroyed everything in its path.

They do not understand. Water is the lifeblood of all living things. If I desire control, they have no choice but to obey. If I desire them to kneel, they will without fail, no matter who they are.

My family didn't send me here to learn. They sent me here to eliminate their competition. Foolish ambitions. The ocean does not bend under the will of others.
